IMPM

A cooperative venture of Business Schools in the five countries of UK, Canada, India, China and Brazil, the International Masters program for Managers (IMPM) is a novel programme that functions in an authentically international context. Every possible aspect of the programme has been customized to concentrate on the needs of participants and their companies.

Started in 1996, the IMPM programme is based on the work of Professor Henry Mintzberg at McGill University, and uses a unique approach structured around five managerial mindsets—reflective, analytical, worldly, collaborative and action—to engage participants in content relevant to their workplace.

Deviating from the mould of the functional 'silos' so common in management education, the programme is instead structured around managerial 'mindsets', focusing on the ‘practice of management as a meeting point of the art, science and craft’.
