Q. Eligibility Criteria

Ans. A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification obtained by the candidate must entail a minimum of three years of education after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent. Second, applicants need to have a minimum of two years experience in the IT industry or IT related field as on June 1, 2012 . Applicants having 4 to 5 years or more of work experience are likely to gain most from this program.

Q. As per the criteria mentioned, i would be short by few days. Kindly, keep me informed if that can be relaxed. Because, of that few days, one need to wait for 1 more year.

Ans. Minimum 2 years of experience in a IT industry is mandatory for admission to PGSEM . Unfortunately, we cannot waive the minimum experience. We strongly encourage you to consider applying for the program next year.

Q. Test Pattern and how to prepare for the test.

Ans. The admission test format will be fairly similar (not necessarily identical) to the CAT. The preparation should be the same as you do for the CAT.

Ans. Definite cut-off score cannot be given since selection is decided not only on the score, but also other academic background and experience.

Q. Pursuing the course out of Bangalore

Ans. One has to be in Bangalore only. We have discontinued Chennai centre from 2009 batch onwards.

Q. Any weightage given to partner company candidates
Ans. No.

Q. Can we submit both GMAT score as well as appear for entrance test

Ans. No, only one.

Q. If selected, company sponsorship approval necessary

Ans. No, sponsorship is not available from this year.

Ans. PGSEM is designed specially for working software professionals and classes are conducted only on week days, ie Fridays and Saturdays. No financial assistance will be provided like other courses.

Q. Whether placement is available after completion of the course

Ans. No. This course is specially designed for working software professionals and hence no placement opportunities will be provided like other courses.

Q. Is it OK if GMAT score is sent after the test

Ans. GMAT score should be available at the time of applying. Score card can be sent after the test.
