Can India's education system deliver the demographic dividend?

The projected growth of the Indian economy and businesses is based on India's perceived demographic dividend. The availability of suitable manpower to achieve this growth depends on the quality of education, starting from the primary levels. The Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, an ambitious government initiative, is intended to achieve the vision of universal elementary education bridging gender and social gaps.
