IIM Bangalore invites applications for the posts of
Project Coordinators - Civil
to perform technical, organisational and supervisory roles in construction projects, including setting out roads, drains, and structures involved in new as well as ongoing construction operations.
The Incumbent will be responsible for timely and cost-effective execution and supervision of construction work as per approved plans, quality norms and & contractual specifications, co-ordination with various agencies, consultant for smooth execution of work.
The selected candidates will have a BE / B. Tech in Civil Engineering with 8-10 years of experience in handling civil, structural works, working alongside architects, engineers, construction managers, supervisors, planners, surveyors and subcontractors.. The candidate should be conversant with tender procedures, work records, preparation of bills etc. knowledge of work procedures (PWD/CPWD/MES) will be an added qualification.
She/he shall have good managerial skills, be able to communicate in Kannada, Hindi and English, possess multi-tasking capabilities, and be a result-oriented, self-motivated individual. Diploma holders with over 15 years experience may also apply.
The positions are on a contractual basis with initial tenure of two years. Compensation will be based on qualification and experience as per the norms of the Institute.
